? The Women and Employment Research Report – TurkishWIN has co-led this annual perception study with XSIGHTS Research & Consultancy since 2017. It is one of Türkiye’s most comprehensive time-series analyses, uncovering the societal myths, cultural narratives, and structural barriers that shape women’s labor force participation.

The Women Leadership Platform (Kadın Liderlik Platformu) – Co-led with KAGİDER, this is a community of practice made up of corporate, NGO, and ecosystem partners committed to building a gender-equal workforce. Together, we share insights, facilitate peer learning, co-create policy recommendations, and push for inclusive change in the private sector.

The Women Leadership Platform (Kadın Liderlik Platformu or KLP) is where Türkiye’s private sector changemakers come together to rise. Co-led with KAGİDER, KLP is a community of practice that brings corporate leaders into a learning and development circle focused on advancing gender equity at work.

Our goal? To share real-world experiences, best practices, and bold ideas that move the needle on diversity and inclusion—especially when it comes to empowering women in decision-making roles.

The Million Women Mentors program, dubbed Milyon Kadına Mentor in Turkish, connects private, public, and NGO sector leaders with young women (15-25 years old) for mentorship opportunities to help develop their career aspirations.

The program was founded together with the U.S. Chamber’s U.S.-Turkey Business Council and its Women in Business Initiative alongside project partners TurkishWIN's BinYaprak platform, STEMconnector and TOBB. 

We bring together STEMconnector’s global expertise with TurkishWIN’s powerful network of mentors—and the reach of our digital platform, BinYaprak. Milyon Kadına Mentor program is supported by Founding Circle Partners, Akbank, Turkey, Beba Foundation, Bridge to Türkiye Fund, Eker, EnerjiSA, PepsiCo Turkey, Pluxee Türkiye, Smart Enegry, Yıldız Holding and Technology sponsor Bulutistan . The program will gain strength as it grows to support women on their career journey.

The Million Women Mentor Türkiye program is a movement of impact, powered by companies that believe in lifting as they rise.

Mentorship in this program is company-led. Individuals cannot sign up on their own as mentors. Instead, we invite organizations to join and mobilize their employees as mentors.

We launched the Story Harvesting movement on October 29, 2023 in celebration of our Republic’s centennial because we believe the next century must be shaped by the voices of women.

For too long, women’s stories have been overlooked, untold, or unheard. We started this movement to change that with one voice, one memory, one turning point at a time. By harvesting and sharing our stories, we’re building a collective legacy that inspires, connects, and moves systems forward.

This is our gift to the next generation: a living archive of courage, growth, and possibility. ✨ Because when one woman shares her truth, she lights the path for many.

Alongside her, the Beba Foundation, STEMconnector, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to Türkiye, and TOBB rolled up their sleeves with us to design a national campaign and ecosystem mentoring program. Our know-how partners, EMCC Türkiye and the Evolve Team, soon joined in. Action partners across the ecosystem said yes—and after a year of seed work, the program officially launched in 2021. TurkishWIN is now the proud operating partner of the Million Women Mentors Türkiye movement. From 2021 to 2025, together with our action partners and corporate members, we’ve mobilized 260+ organizations and 1,600+ volunteer mentors—and we’re growing stronger every day. Our goal is to reach 1 million mentoring connections by 2031.
