What do you do for a living? Tell us more about you.

I’m working as Customer Success Manager in Solvoyo as an advocate for delighting our customers. I am also a mentor in TurkishWIN helping young women like me follow their passion.

What's the best piece advice you've received?

Cliché, simple yet sincere – Always follow your heart

Dark chocolate or milk chocolate

   Dark Chocolate

One thing you wish you have known earlier in your career

You don’t need approval or appreciation from people to know you are good enough. Don’t expect everyone to understand or approve you when you follow your path. Everybody has their own universe of               definitions of success, happiness, good or bad.

If you could have any three people (dead or alive) over for dinner – who would they be?

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk – No wonder why I would love to have dinner with him. His vision, dedication and motivation is one of a kind.

Alain De Botton –Bon Appettite for an Intellectually fulfilling dinner.

Stephen Hawking – There is a whole universe to talk about.

Name a book you read that positively shaped you.

My favorite author is Alain De Botton and his School of Life Series have helped me understand myself as a human-being. I would recommend ‘How to Think More About Sex’ to all young women and men who     are in the beginning of understanding their sexual identity and relationships especially in a community where these things are still treated more conservatively for women.

I also love reading psychology books and Engin Geçtan – İnsan Olmak is my favorite.

You believe in the sisterhood at work because…

We are all decision-makers at some level. Only with a balanced inclusivity, we can achieve better results for ourselves and the people around us by finding  common values.

Who are your role models?

My parents – Their support and understanding of ‘happiness’ in life has helped me understand my definition of happiness and achievement in life.

I also feel very lucky to have many friends around the world who have wonderful stories of following their passion to create their way in life. Being connected to them is a wonderful feeling and truly inspiring.

If you had one superpower, what would it be?

Being invisible whenever I wanted to.

Do you have any pets?

I don’t but I love the movie Hachiko. So I would love to have a dog some day.
