Is Future really female?

We partnered with the Turkish Philanthropy Funds to explore the answer to this question in New York on March 30th. 

We are experiencing a unique moment in time where women have united to share their experiences. This collective female voice has powerful implications for the way our future is being shaped.

Women already control more than one-third of global wealth.

Women are responsible for making over 80 percent of household purchase decisions

In the business world, female start-ups receive less than 10 percent of funding available yet are responsible for 40 percent of all successful start-ups.

Many women and men gathered at The Marmara Park Avenue for TPF and TurkishWIN's co-event "Future & Women." On March 30, 2018. The panel discussion was geared toward women's empowerment and leadership with Aysegul Ildeniz, Maria Figueroa Kupcu, and Asli Ay, each telling their own stories on being true to yourself and taking risks.

The panel was moderated by Senay Ataselim-Yilmaz, PhD, the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF). She is also a brain trust members . Our panelist were: Asli Ay is the  Managing Partner at U.S. Policy Metrics; Maria Figueroa Kupcu, head of NY Office of Brunswick Group and is a senior advisor specializing in reputation campaigns; and Aysegul Ildeniz, Chief Operating Officer of Silver Spring Networks. 

The dynamic and engaging conversation inspired all attendees and left them feeling that the essence and the spirit of the future must be female. Are surprised, no!
