Demet Ozdemir | Conquering Your Fears and Making Tough Choices

Demet Ozdemir is the EMEIA Strategic Growth Markets Leader for EY, where she is helping to identify and advise high-growth companies and high-potential entrepreneurs and family businesses. She also serves on the leadership team of the Global Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at EY and is a member of the EY Global Women Business Advisory Council. She has more than 20 years' experience working in accounting and advisory services, during which she advised numerous local and international clients on strategic decisions, including M&A transactions, privatizations, and IPOs. Demet has previously been the Leader of the Entrepreneur of the Year programme and the Private Equity Industry Leader for EY Turkey. Demet is a qualified Independent Public Accountant and Financial Advisor and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Turkey. Demet holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Middle East Technical University and an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. She is also a former athlete who won the national skiing championship.
