📢 Quick Updates

March was a busy month for our sisterhood:

• We designed and launched the BinYaprak Job Search Circles to support young women impacted by the earthquake, 
• We published blog articles and videos with tips and pointers to support our community impacted by the earthquake, 
• The Women Leadership Platform Summit took place at TUSIAD where businesses shared best practices, 
• The Million Women Mentor movement expanded her scope to non-STEM fields and high schools, 
• We hosted events for experience sharing at TurkishWIN and BinYaprak. 

Some of you have inquired, yes, we have postponed the TurkishWIN Career Summit to the fall. We will keep you posted. 

What is coming up in April? 

• We will continue learning from our partners and community at BinYaprak Job Search Circles, 
• The EBRD Women in Business Mentoring program- that we manage- will accept applications from female entrepreneurs., 
• We are recruiting non-STEM mentors for the Million Women Mentor movement.
• If you are a storyteller, reach out to our team! We are working on a massive storytelling movement:-) 
• CampusWIN Academy will open calls for applications. Send your referrals our way! Stay tuned for announcements.

These will present incredible opportunities for businesses to develop relationships with customers like never before.

Sisterhood Hour: A guide for a new page in Germany with Nilgün Akdoğan and Mona Aykul

Starting a new life abroad is an important and difficult decision for young people. We will talk about how to prepare to apply for a university, master's, or doctoral program in Germany, and what to know about life, culture, academia, and career opportunities in Germany. We will also explain with examples why language skills play an important role and how to learn them best. If you are considering or planning to start an academic career in Germany, we would like to accompany you to this meeting and share our knowledge with you.

CampusWIN April Academy Day

Join us at our monthly CampusWIN Academy Day for updates from the program, exchange of new ideas, and speed networking with our aspiring CampusWINners.

#IamRemarkable Workshop with Elif Tutum Tuncer and Seda Nüfusçu

In this interactive session, you can participate in group discussions and exercises to develop the confidence and skills to promote yourself effectively.

During the 90 min #IamRemarkable workshop, we will:

• Share data and research regarding self-promotion and unconscious bias
• Go through exercises to help you articulate your achievements and practice self-promotion
• Have a discussion and share take-home exercises

Sisterhood Speed Networking Session with Kelly Pınar Goodwin

Our host is; Kelly Pınar Goodwin, Owner, and Lead Trainer at Culture Savvy. In this Sisterhood Speed Networking Session with Kelly Pınar Goodwin, we will increase our awareness and ability to work effectively across cultures. We will learn how to better understand ourselves and others and gain skills for interacting in diverse workplace settings. Join us for an interesting and insightful conversation.

#GivingBack is a serious and collective business at TurkishWIN. 

We would like to thank all TurkishWINners who have volunteered their time and know-how at BinYaprak İş Arama Kız Kardeşlik Çemberi. We have kicked off our pilot with over 1100 female university students, 250 facilitators and 23 partners. We have designed an 8-week learning and support journey for female university students who have been impacted by the earthquake and who are actively searching for a full-time job or internships.
