EBRD Women in Business Mentoring Program Launch

Today, the first group of mentors and mentees sponsored under the "Finance and Advice for Women in Business Programme" gathered in Ankara in celebration of the programme's launch and International Women's Day. This initiative, which aims to strengthen the role of female entrepreneurs in the Turkish economy and grow women-led businesses, is funded by the European Union (EU), The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Republic of Turkey. The programme provides women with a comprehensive package of financial and technical support to help them succeed. You may wonder why we mention this event! Because...TurkishWIN is the EBRD partner for the implementation of the mentoring service of this special program. TurkishWIN mentors volunteered to support women entrepreneurs from Kayseri, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Bursa, Denizli, Hatay and Istanbul. The official program announcement is here.
