Coaching Techniques for Effective Mentoring

In this event, co-organized by TurkishWIN and PWN, Stratefy Partner and Executive Coach, Oya Gunay was on the stage to talk about "Coaching Techniques for Effective Mentoring". Oya Günay told us "Mentoring is generally defined as the guidance of an older and/or more experienced person for a younger and/or less experienced person. However, effective mentoring is not just about the mentor transferring and imposing his/her experiences, ideas and visions but it is mainly about actively listening, focusing on the mentee's needs and giving advice accordingly. Any mentor, aware of coaching techniques will be able to create a relationship where both parties will benefit."
