The TurkishWIN members have ideas, stories, and career tips to share. The TurkishWIN Speaker Club is a giveback opportunity that we created to increase the reach of our members.

Universities, NGOs, and fellow TurkishWIN members will come to the TurkishWIN Speaker Club to request our members as speakers for their events. Each speaker can be requested individually through our Speaker Club page. You can take a look at our roster of speakers here.

Your speaker page is completely unique to you. Below are some pointers for your profile to shine:

• Make sure you have a motto - everyone is looking for like-minded people for their events, this is a great opportunity to show your essential values.
• Keep your bio up-to-date. We live in a fast paced world, jobs and titles can change. Make sure you update your bio every now and then to keep it true. You can do so by going to edit profile > edit speaker profile
  • A sub note for this would be to include both an English and a Turkish bio. We have lots of universities and NGO’s requesting speakers in Turkish-spoken events.
• Add your videos. If you have spoken at events before, this is a great way to showcase your past work. Make sure you add videos to your Speaker Page. You can do so by going to edit profile > edit speaker profile from your turkishwin.com account. 
  • A quick reminder to keep in mind: we only support YouTube and Vimeo videos currently. To get the best results please use the url from the search bar instead of the share button.
  • We can not include podcasts or articles on your profile yet. But keep an eye out for any emails from us that might have the latest updates.  
• Your Wall of Love section. We wanted to give you a space to showcase some of the great feedback you received from organizers, followers and your audience in general. You can add to your Wall of Love through your ‘Edit My Speaker Profile’ section.

We want to pay it forward and leave a legacy not only through the work we do but the relationships we create and the women we impact along the way. 

The Speaker Club is a great way for us to connect with each other- inviting fellow TurkishWIN members to different team meetings or events. The TurkishWIN Speaker Club also enables us to connect to our alma mater universities. It is a win-win!

Please go to edit your profile after logging in and activate your Speaker Club Membership from the left-hand menu.

You will be taken to the Profile Switching form. All you have to do is fill out the necessary information and click the ‘Complete Profile Switching’ button at the end of the form. 

Our team will then send you an email confirming your Speaker Club membership and details of your page. 

Your speaker page will go live at turkishwin.com/name-surname 

You will receive the speaker requests directly! Our team will assist you every step of the way.

We would love them to! The TurkishWIN Speaker Club is a digital service powered by  turkishwin.com and requires registration to our system. Only TurkishWIN members have access to turkishwin.com digital spaces. If you are a former TurkishWIN Speaker and would like to join our Speaker Club, please join us as a member.

When you join the TurkishWIN Speaker Club, you will have a dedicated page for your profile- think of it as a personal webpage. All requests from universities, NGOs, and fellow TurkishWIN members will come through your TurkishWIN Speaker Club page. 

We offer year-long training to our seasoned and emerging speakers to get better at giving presentations and storytelling. Sharing is caring! 

Last, but not least, you will meet fellow speakers and share ideas or suggestions. 

Your speaker page will profile your name, title, life motto,  bio, expertise, interests, and event preferences. TurkishWIN speakers are often invited to speak at university or NGO-hosted events. Your speaker page will be publicly available at turkishwin.com/name-surname for all to discover your story! 

Each speaker page has a request button, which will take the requester to a specialized form that will ask for all the event details for your convenience. All submissions will come through our website.

If the host is a university, one of our CampusWIN leaders will assist you throughout the process. If not, we will be handling the communication.

We have extensive guides and resources on how to tell your story including previous talks and events about storytelling as well as our own course. You are the master after all! 

That said, our team is happy to guide you in the preparation steps but we will not be able to write a speech or prepare a presentation for you.

This is hard to tell. We hope to publish annual statistics in the coming months. 

We are so sorry to hear about your experience. A perfect storm can always happen with the wrong audience, programs running late, last-minute changes, and more! We would like to learn from all experiences - especially from bad ones - to improve our process. If our speaker rejects your request, this might be for a number of reasons. Most of the time it will be because her schedule has already been filled beforehand. If this is the case, you can always go back to our roster of amazing women and pick a different speaker.

To minimize the chances of this happening, we ask that you invite speakers through the TurkishWIN Speaker Club at least 6 weeks in advance.

Once you’ve filled out and submitted your request form, we will review your request and ask our speaker for her availability. If she confirms your request, we will get you in touch with her and ask that you continue all correspondence with her from that point.

We ask that you keep us in the loop by cc’ing us in any email chain you might have with our speaker

Once you have made up your mind about whom to invite to your upcoming event, go ahead and request your speaker through the ‘Request’ button at the bottom right corner of their speaker page.

This will take you to a form for us to gather some information about your event and expectations from our speaker.

Who might that be? First thing’s first, go to www.turkishwin.com/speaker-club You will see that we have a very detailed filtering system. You can search for a speaker by name, location, expertise, industry, or event preferences.

You can click on the ‘view’ button under each speaker card to learn more about their background and specialties, as well as watch their previous speaking experiences.

Once you have made up your mind about whom to invite to your upcoming event, go ahead and request your speaker through the ‘Request’ button at the bottom right corner of their speaker page.
