Best Practices for Building a Strong Community

  • Be respectful and considerate.

  • Disagree and commit, with gusto.  We agree to disagree. Disagreement is a healthy part of having a culture of open discourse. When you disagree, do it with warmth.

  • Contribute in an open,  positive and constructive way.

    • Actively participate in the community, have an online presence, engage and collaborate with other members. Sharing is caring!

    • Members are encouraged (but not required) to have their cameras on and pointed at their faces while in sessions, one-on-ones, and conversations with staff or members. Our speakers respond to your positive energy and the entire experience lifts up all participants. • Guard member trust

    • The sisterhood circles are our safe spaces. Whatever is shared in a circle, stays in the circle. We encourage you to lead with vulnerability and together keep this place nonjudgmental and sisterly.

    • At events, in mentoring conversations and in private 1:1’s, we see each other in our most vulnerable times. We will not forget how precious that is and treasure this gift in confidence.

    • Do whatever it takes to earn and guard member trust.

  • We encourage everyone to treat each other with mutual respect. TurkishWIN may remove postings that are deemed inappropriate, offensive, or that violate the guidelines of this Code of Conduct.
