She was born and raised in Istanbul. Fell in love in 2010, got married, and blessed with a beautiful daughter who is now 7 years old. Lebriz spent 14 years in a long career run among some recruitment consultancy and HR Business Partnering experience within various industries. In 2016, as a family, they relocated to The Netherlands. While enjoying this abroad experience, she also enriched her HR background in different international companies. She's now working at Nike EHQ since 2018 which she's proud to be a part of the diverse and inclusive culture. She's managing and contributing to the HR and Talent Acquisition strategy for a couple of countries.

What do you do for a living? Tell us more about you.

I work at Nike EHQ as a Talent Acquisition Partner, being responsible for Turkey, Russia, South Africa, Dubai, and Israel. I’m on a stretch assignment at the moment and managing the HR function for Spain and Portugal. Happy with having such a various and international experience!

What's the best piece of advice you've received?

Keep your expectations at a minimum and let life surprise you with what you get.

One thing you wish you had known earlier in your career

It’s just business. Don’t kill yourself and take it too seriously.

Name a book you read that positively shaped you.

I’m a book worm. Each of them gives me at least one sentence or hidden feeling to shape myself in a way. The Little Prince always reminds me to keep the child alive in me.

You believe in the sisterhood at work because…

It’s important to share our experiences and support each other. I know I can learn a lot from every individual (not only sisters but also recognizing all genders and non-binary). I’m a strong believer in diversity and empowering women. This should be the way how we will improve everyone’s life journey with full respect and support.

Who are your role models?

Türkan Saylan, Frida Kahlo, and Audrey Hepburn. Devoted to being humanitarian, never giving up, inspirational and supportive ambassadors.

If you had one superpower, what would it be?

Making sure that all children and animals are safe in the world.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, a British shorthair cat named Simon. 😊
