Hatice Gökce shows how a Turkish design identity rose from locality at “Argande”, a social responsibility project supported by Turkish designers, UNDP and Mudo.

Hatice Gökce graduated from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts.
Her own design atelier was established in 1998. Since then Gökce has been the leading figure in the men’s fashion wear and won the prize of “Best Designer” in the category of men’s fashion wear in Turkey in 1998 and the Unique Design award in Japan in 1999. Gökce, the founder and Board member of the Fashion Designers Organization, has been the design coordinator of the UN-supported social responsibility project “Argande” since 2008.
Currently, Hatice Gökce is collaborating both with professional institutions and individuals to design custom wear for artists. She lives in Istanbul.
