Cansen was a member of the board of directors of PwC -- Central and Eastern Europe Region between 1998 - 2005 and she was board member in PwC Eurofirm in between 2005 - 2008.Named a "Global Leader of Tomorrow" at the 2000 World Economic Forum, Cansen was invited to join the active 100 "Global Leaders for Tomorrow" community in 2004. Cansen was named "1999 Executive of the Year" by Istanbul University/Dunya newspaper, one of the "Most Successful Business Women" in 2000 again by Dunya and most recently in 2006 one of the "Most Modern and Successful Turkish Women" by the Lions Association. Cansen graduated from the Istanbul University Business Administration Department. She is married and she has a son.
