Burcu was born in Ankara and performed her first stage experience at the age of 9. 

She has performed internationally including several appearances in programs under Turkish National Radio Television and Ankara Radio broadcasting directly to Europe and U.S., also with the Jazz Orchestra of Turkish Stars of Harmony (TÜRKAY) and performed at International Jazz Festivals in Turkey. She worked on a self¬‐developed project on “Use of Music for Acceleration of Language Development in Deaf and Hard¬‐of¬‐hearing Children”, receiving admission from Hacettepe University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Educational Audiology for Master Program. She has recorded several works internationally, including Jazz Revelation Records in Boston, MA. Currently she is enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA as a scholarship recipient.
